Welcome To… Keystone Camp!

Keystone Camp!

Keystone camp is an awesome place to go to over the summer!

If you are 6-7 you are called a key camper. Which means you only go for 1 week.

If you are 8-9 you go for 2 weeks and stay up until 9:00. If you are 10+ you can go for 4 weeks! (And stay up until 9:30)

And it gets better, once you are like, 14 you are a counselor!        I’ve never see it but they say counselors have a mini fridge, water beds, and  supposedly a tunnel to dollys!  Dolly’s is a really good ice cream place next to camp! Normally if you are a camper you go right after sliding rock, but I will talk about that later. Anyway, the dolly’s ice cream flavors are named after local camps in Brevard which is where Keystone is.n Like Keystone sunrise  is mint and Choco Tanga (A different camp) is cookies and cream!

And for sliding rock. It’s this Big, BIG rock that’s super smooth and it has water rushing down. Usually you only get to go like, 2 times. Keystone is a all girls camp but normally you see  another camp there.  Sadly there is no bathrooms so you get changed under a towel where other camps can’t see you. But on the bright side, you get to wear pj’s to Dolly’s!

The activities at camp are petty normal. These are some examples:

  • Rock climbing
  • Swimming and canoeing
  • Tennis
  • Life skills
  • Riding
  • Jewelry making
  • Arts and crafts
  • Cheer and gymnastics

And more!

The Cabins have bunk beds, 2 sinks, showers, and  toilets.

That’s all I have to say about Keystone. If you are not sure about going than go on a mother daughter weekend!
